Haleakalā 3D terrain model

Maui, Hawaii

3D terrain model of Haleakalā with satellite imagery

About this model

The massive shield volcano that forms most of Maui rises to 3,055 m. Its summit “crater”, really a valley carved by erosion, is about 11 km long and dotted with cinder cones.

The frame is 14 km across, centred on 20.7150° N, 156.2000° W. Open it in the editor to change the style, exaggerate the height, turn it into a circle, or move the frame — then download it for your 3D printer, as a poster or as a 360° video.
